A well known author who lived around the period of 1534 CE, compiled the smrti works, Shri. Kamalakara Bhatt is the son of Pt. Ramakrishna Bhatt and the grandson of Shri. Narayana Bhatt. He is the brother of Shri. Dinakara Bhatt. He was a noted Smarta during his time he is credited with the authorship of the following granthas<ref>Pt.
