This template is used to identify articles which, while understandable, have excessive information about trivial subjects and need to be refocused to suit a more general audience.
Usage

"Date" and "section" are both optional. The "section" attribute, if included, customises the wording to apply only to a section of an article.
This template sorts articles into Category:Wikipedia articles needing style editing.
This template should not be subst'ed.
