A few of the noted include, Vishvavara, Shasvati, Nivavari, Ghosha, Romasaa, Apala, and Urvashi.

The Brhadaranyaka Upaniṣad (4.5.1) calls Maitreyi, wife of Yajnavalkya maharshi, as a brahmavadini.
