The parts containing the mantras are compiled into what are termed as Samhitas since ancient times. It is this Samhita literature that is  arranged into Pada-patha, Krama-patha and other vikriti-pathas. The  mantra consisting Samhita is recited and used in the yajnas. Acharya Shri.
