Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga (Samskrit: विश्वरूपदर्शनयोगः) is the name given to the eleventh chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. The previous chapters of the Bhagavad Gita have dealt with annihilation of Arjuna's doubts through description of the Atman, the origin and destruction of created things, etc. Now that Arjuna is ready to behold the Cosmic vision, Shri Krishna endows him with divine vision by which he perceives that cosmic manifestation of the Supreme that is described as unattainable through any amount of austerities, study, study or philanthropic acts; attaining which is possible only through the means of Supreme devotion.
