Garbhadhana (Samskrit: गर्भाधानम्) is classified as the first of the sixteen [[Samskaras (संस्काराः)|Samskaras]] followed by people practicing [[Sanatana Dharma (सनातनधर्मः)|Sanatana Dharma]]. The rite through which a man placed his seed in a woman has been called Garbhadhana.
