Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga (Samskrit: विश्वरूपदर्शनयोगः) is the name given to the eleventh chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. The previous chapters of the Bhagavad Gita have dealt with annihilation of Arjuna's doubts through description of the Atman, the origin and destruction of created things, etc. Now that Arjuna is ready to behold the Cosmic vision, Shri Krishna endows him with divine vision by which he perceives that cosmic manifestation of the Supreme that is described as unattainable through any amount of austerities, study, study or philanthropic acts; attaining which is possible only through the means of Supreme devotion.

== अध्यायसारः ॥ Summary of the Eleventh Chapter ==
 +
In this Chapter, Sri Krishna endows Arjuna with the divine sight that enables him to behold the Supreme being as the vast Cosmic Manifestation. The vision is described as all-comprehensive and simultaneous. In every direction Arjuna sees the Supreme being manifested as the entire universe. All the created worlds, deities, human beings, creatures and things stand as the one gigantic body of the Supreme. Arjuna further sees how the great cosmic order is set in motion and controlled by the power of the Supreme and realises that His will alone prevails in all things and actions.

Having thus explained to Arjuna that he himself is only an apparent cause in the destruction of his enemies; that it is actually the will of the Supreme, Krishna urges Arjuna to fight. And Arjuna unable to bear the pressure of the sudden expansion of consciousness, is filled with fear. It is this vision that Krishna explains as attainable only through Supreme devotion. Arjuna then requests the Supreme being to assume His form as Krishna. <ref name=":0" />
